Kids & first piercings
First piercing in the family? You are in the right hands. Minors are welcome with parental consent: the parent or legal guardian must be present with a state ID, the minor needs a valid state or school ID, and bring the original birth certificate, no photocopies.
Every piercing here is done with a sterile, single-use needle by a professional piercer, never a gun, which is gentler on the tissue and heals better. We take the time to talk your kid through every step, and nobody gets pierced until they are ready.

Aftercare, the short version
Clean with saline solution and otherwise leave it alone. We recommend NeilMed piercing aftercare saline, sterile and sting-free, in studio at $7.50 (2.5 oz) or $15 (6 oz).
Do not rotate your jewelry; it is non-porous and will not stick to skin. Keep the starter stud in for the full heal before switching to a hoop.
Healing times: facial within about three months; cartilage, nipples, and navels three to six months. Titanium and proper care keep those on the fast end.
Pierced the right way
- Sterile, single-use needles and aseptic technique. Never guns. They crush tissue and cannot be fully sterilized, so they never touch skin here.
- Implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136) and 14kt or 18kt solid gold only. No surgical steel, no stainless steel.
